In
Puerto de Mogan we can find a mixture of two different cultures: on one hand
we have the tourists from all over the world ( modern and international culture
), and on the other hand we have the local people who develops and lives in
a small fishing village. ( local culture )
Normally,
these two “way of live” do not mix. However, this is not the case, thanks
to Raphael Neville, who put much work, not only to designed and built a very
fashionable place, but also to produced an environment which is amicable to
both cultures.
The typical
colours, such as bordeaux red, prussian blue and dark green, that adorn the
village and any buildings, are in the same time the characteristic theme that
feature the fishing boats.
Equally we
have bougainvillea, climbing plants, hibiscus and palm-trees adding colour
to the layout of the whole urbanization and enriching any building.
In the harbour,
you can see boat repairman and also the most luxurious yachts side by with
the typical canarias fishing boats.
Nowadays,
the local people living in the old urbanization of Mogan Playa full time work
with, live with and mix socially with the many visitors of different nationalities.
