Raphael Neville, “Conde de Berlanga”, was born in Malaga on 23 august 1926 and he died in his favourite and loved Cerdegna (Italy) four years ago.
His father, Edgar Neville, was a writer, diplomat, director of cinema and personal friend of the influential people of that time, some of which were Chaplin and Picasso.
Raphael Neville was an artist and a developer and a designer of natur spaces. He started creating on lands owned by his grandmother, Doña Carlotta Alexandra, in Torremonlinos, a place which was soon to become fashionable.
He then moved to Marbella where he started a very active social life with people like Sean Connery, the Prine Alfonso de Hohenlohe, Bastiano Bergese and his own father.
Afterwards in Italy, joint with Paolo Riccardi, he designed and built Porto Raphael. Halfway through the 70’s, he arrived in Mogan and started his dream, Puerto de Mogan, something which he finally realized in 1988.
